UPDATE ON WATER OUTAGE

A temporary pump will hopefully be set up for operation by Thursday, so that we can get water flowing back to our customers. We will have to fill very slowly, so even if we get water moving by Thursday it may take a while to get to you.
Also, Permian Pump and Power have graciously donated a pallet of water for people affected by the water outage. It may be picked up at the County Precinct barn in Pear Valley.

Currently we are attempting to reroute water to some of the affected areas. This fix has its own issues. Rerouting the water can cause leaks in our main, so this must be done slowly.
Also, we have been trying to locate pumps for a temporary fix, however the pumps we need have not been easy to locate. The plan is to get the pumps to Melvin and do a temporary fix until we can rebuild the Melvin Pump Station.
M-DWSC is doing everything we can to get water restored. This will take time.

The Paint Rock Community Church has generously donated bottled water for those affected by the water outage. The water is at the Millersview plant: 13481 FM 1929 East, Millersview TX 76862

At the moment M-DWSC has reached out to several Disaster Services and we are waiting for a response. We are doing everything we can to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We will send out an alert as soon as we have any information.
